Max International President Jim Stevralia recently visited the Philippines and presented a donation to World Vision Philippines and to our Max Associates who were affected by typhoon Haiyan. An outpouring of support from the U.S. home office executives and employees reached the victims through an office donation collection drive and online contributions to the World Vision website. Max International matched 100% of the total contributions that were collected and this was handed over to World Vision.
“Max International has a very special relationship with the Philippines, it was one of our first foreign markets and the people there have welcomed us with open arms. So many Filipinos have found a chance for a better life thanks to the Max products and business opportunities. Now, they’re in need of our help more than ever,” according to Jim Stevralia.
Proceeds of the donation for World Vision will help provide families in the Philippines with supply of food and non-food necessities, basic shelter and life-saving assistance kits. Diamond Associate Erick Lovitos, who leads the relief efforts for Max Associates in the Visayas region, accepted the donation from Max International on behalf of the Associates affected by the typhoon.
